It's an exciting time of the year when Halloween is only a few days away! Everybody is shopping for candy treats and finishing up their decorations. We wanted to get in on the spirit and reached out to our DIY crafter extraordinaire, Kayla. Together (it was mostly Kayla) we created a fun and spooky decorative candy serving tray.
Follow along to see how this simple decorative idea can brighten up any plain looking dish. All you need is a Kassa transfer paper & vinyl bundle.
We decided to draw and cut our designs but you can print them as well. The transfer paper has a grid so you can line up each part of the design and see how it will look before applying them to your serving tray.
Since we were in the holiday spirit, we decided to go for a black and orange trick or treat sign with some spooky bats!
Pro tip: Make sure to gently press your designs to stick to the transfer paper. The tackiness is strong enough to hold your vinyls with just a few pressed.
Once you have your design looking perfect, it's time to stick it onto your tray. Gently press the artwork down onto the tray, then you'll be able to peel off the transfer tape with ease.
Whether you are transferring large or small designs, Kassa transfer tape is the way to go. Without it, this project would've taken me twice as long to complete. If you still aren't convinced, check out what else you decorate with Kassa. Happy crafting!
